About Dr Ken Darzy
Dr Ken Darzy is a highly experienced Consultant Physician specialising in diabetes and endocrinology, with a broad clinical practice encompassing both common and complex endocrine conditions. He is currently practising privately at Hendon Hospital, where he is known for his thorough, patient-centred approach and depth of specialist expertise. Dr Darzy qualified in medicine with an MB ChB from the University of Baghdad College of Medicine in 1990. He went on to complete his specialist training in endocrinology and diabetes at Bart’s and The Royal London Hospital, finishing in 2006. His clinical interests include the management of general diabetes, pituitary disorders, thyroid and parathyroid disease, metabolic conditions, and pubertal and sexual dysfunction. He also has a particular interest in adolescent endocrinology and in managing endocrine and diabetic conditions during pregnancy. Committed to delivering evidence-based care, Dr Darzy remains closely engaged with ongoing advances in the field of diabetes and endocrinology. Alongside his clinical work, he has been actively involved in medico-legal practice since 2010, undertaking work in general internal medicine, diabetes, and endocrinology. His extensive clinical and research background, combined with in-depth knowledge of NHS systems, gives him valuable insight into clinical negligence issues, particularly those arising from complex care pathways.
