Hooria Olsen is an experienced Dentist with over 25 years of clinical experience. Currently, she is the Principal Dentist at Olsen's Dental Practice. Qualifying from Cardiff Dental School in 1993, she took a job in hospital dentistry to be an Oral Surgeon for three years. After this, she moved into general dental practice. She has worked at Olsen's Dental Practice for 14 years. Her specialist interest is in Orthodontic treatments and she has recently completed an advanced qualification in Orthodontics at the IAS Academy in London.
To complement her clinical work, she is a Clinical Mentor and Instructor at the IAS Orthodontic Academy in the UK for Fixed Braces.
Hooria is continually developing her skills and has completed courses in invisible and removable braces which she has been certified to implement since 2009. Other courses include Implant Dentistry, in which she completed her further training 10 years ago and Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry. Therefore, she has a wide range of skills.
Due to her many years of clinical experience, she is particularly competent at helping anxious patients and children with their dental care. Additionally, Hooria is a member of the British Dental Association (BDA) and has been for many years.
