About Dr Hamish McMichen
Dr Hamish McMichen, an experienced General Practitioner and the Founder of Basuto Medical Centre, graduated from Guy’s Hospital in 1972 and pursued additional training in hospital medicine and general practice. He obtained his Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 1977. Initially serving as a partner in general practice in Farnham, Surrey, Dr McMichen later transitioned to Fulham in 1979. In 1990, he founded Basuto Medical Centre as an independent practice, contributing to the healthcare landscape of Fulham for over three decades. With a professional journey spanning numerous years, Dr McMichen brings a wealth of experience to his role, particularly in Dermatology, a field in which he has served as a clinical assistant for 16 years. Dr McMichen's commitment to healthcare and his community is reflected in his long-standing residency in Fulham, where he has resided for more than 30 years.
