Since 2013, he has worked as a senior clinical fellow in advanced heart failure at Harefield Hospital. Furthermore, for his academic and clinical work, Dr Karagiannis has been awarded a fellowship of the European Society of Cardiology and a fellowship of the European Heart Failure Association.
