Dr Fevronia Kiparissi has been a consultant paediatric gastroenterologist at the prestigious Great Ormond Street Hospital for almost 20 years. She also practises at the University College London Hospitals and has a private practice at Medical Express Clinic, Harley Street. Dr Kiparissi treats all paediatric gastrointestinal diseases with a special interest in mucosal immunological conditions such as food allergy, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), infant IBD, and coeliac disease.
First qualifying in Germany in 1995, Dr Kiparissi went on to complete her training in general paediatrics and paediatrics in hospitals in Germany and the UK, including Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Dr Kiparissi has contributed to a number of published books on paediatric gastroenterology and is currently an honorary senior lecturer for the Institute of Child Health at the University College London. She is also involved in research and is currently leading research into early-onset inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac disease, and non-IgE-mediated food allergies.
