Dr. Dimalee Herath is a dermatologist trained in the UK, focusing on General Dermatology, Skin Cancer, and Vulval Dermatology. She has shared her findings at esteemed venues such as The Royal Society of Medicine, The British Association of Dermatologists, and The British Society for Investigative Dermatology. Currently, she holds a consultant position at Croydon University Hospital, where she addresses a broad range of dermatological issues. Previously, she served as the Clinical Lead for Dermatology at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust. In her practice, she manages skin cancer and precancerous conditions, conducts routine skin examinations, and is skilled in treating rashes on various body areas. Among the conditions she addresses are eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, skin infections like athlete’s foot, cysts, folliculitis, acne, seborrhoeic dermatitis, rosacea, alopecia, nail disorders, lichen planus, excessive sweating, and skin lupus. Dr. Herath collaborates closely with gynecology colleagues and serves as a primary referral point for Vulval dermatological issues such as Lichen Sclerosus and vulvodynia (vulval pain).
