About
Dr Charlotte Mendes da Costa is a General Practitioner with over two decades of experience in combining conventional and homeopathic medicine. She sees private patients at the Bedford Park Surgery.
Dr Mendes da Costa undertook her undergraduate medical training at St Bartholomew's Hospital, from which she graduated in 1991. Following this she undertook further training in several hospitals in the London and Surrey area before completing her training in General Practice, becoming a GP in 2006. She has been a General Practitioner for over 20 years in West London, and is well known among patients and colleagues alike.
Dr. Mendes da Costa has always been passionate about using both holistic treatment for patients as well as conventional treatments. After becoming concerned with the side effects of certain conventional treatments, Dr Mendes da Costa began he training in Homeopathic medicine in 1999, giving her a wealth of experience in homeopathy alongside general practice. She gained membership of the Faculty of Homeopathy in 2003 and now provides Homeopathy within General Practice and also within her private Homeopathic practice in West London.
Dr Mendes da Costa is dedicated to creating a bridge between conventional medicine and Homeopathic medicine, seeing them as working hand in hand. She acknowledges that not all cases are treatable by homeopathy, but conversely a lot of patients can be successfully treated with homeopathy alone, without the need for more drugs.
