About Dr Brian O'Connor
Dr Brian O'Connor is a Consultant Respiratory Physician. Dr O'Connor graduated in 1980 from Dublin. They completed postgraduate general medical training in Dublin and passed the membership examination for the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in 1984. Dr O'Connor moved to the Royal Brompton Hospital in London in 1988 to complete specialist respiratory training. They are a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London. Dr O'Connor has a special interest in the investigation and management of airways disease. They have a particular interest in asthma, having completed an MD thesis on research into airway inflammation in asthma. They are also interested in the investigation and management of lung cancer and pleural disease. Dr O'Connor is recognised internationally for their work in respiratory medicine. They have published widely in peer-reviewed journals and written several book chapters. They have also presented at national and international conferences. Dr O'Connor is committed to providing the highest quality care to patients. They take a holistic approach to patient care and are dedicated to providing individualised treatment plans.
