About Dr Bijay Baburajan
Dr Bijay Baburajan is a Consultant Gastroenterologist, providing a service for Kent and Medway patients from King's College Hospital and the Maidstone Hospital. He completed his undergraduate medical degree in 1992, followed by speciality training in London and Cambridge. His sub-specialist interest in the diagnosis and management of intestinal and pancreatic cancers was further developed at The Medical University of South Carolina, USA. Dr Baburajan's original research into Personalised Medicine was awarded a PhD from The University of London, the results of which were subsequently patented by King's Health Partners. This work has been recognised by awards from the American Gastroenterological Association and The British Society of Gastroenterology.
