She first trained in General Medicine and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in London in 1999. She then specialised in Dermatology in the West Midlands in 5 departments. She has since presented at meetings nationally and internationally. Since 2006 Dr. Loffeld has worked as a Consultant Dermatologist at the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust (HoEFT) and was the Skin Cancer Lead there between 2008 and 2016.



Dr Loffeld also has a keen interest in research and has multiple publications in Dermatology journals including Paediatric Dermatology and Skin Oncology.
