Dr. Andreea Anton is a Consultant Dermatologist on GMC Specialist register currently working at London North West Healthcare NHS Trust. Her areas of specialty are General Dermatology and skin cancer and her areas of interest include severe acne, mole checks, hair and scalp diseases, skin cancer and minor skin surgeries. Dr. Anton qualified as a medical doctor in 2009 from Carol Davila University of Medicine & Pharmacy Bucharest, Romania. She then fulfilled 5 years of Specialty training in Bucharest. In 2016, she joined the dermatology team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and in 2020, she moved to London North West Healthcare NHS Trust to develop more her interest in skin surgery and skin cancer. In addition, Dr. Anton is interested in research and has published in peer-reviewed scientific journals regarding dermatology. She developed a special interest in acne, skin cancer and psoriasis being involved as a subinvestigator in multicentre clinical trials on systemic therapies for severe psoriasis (secukinumab, etanercept biosimilar). She carries out regular NHS skin cancer and surgery clinics and got involved from prevention campaigns and early detection to treatment of severe cases by different procedures (surgical excision or non-surgical intervention such as topical fluorouracil, imiquimod, PDT). She offers private Dermatology Consultations in different private clinics in London and also online video consultations.
