Dr Anand Kirwadi is a Consultant Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiologist. Dr Kirwadi's routine NHS practice encompasses comprehensive MSK imaging across all modalities, including both diagnostic and interventional facets.
Dr Kirwadi is the lead radiologist for tertiary soft tissue sarcoma referrals and for Greater Manchester Oswestry Sarcoma (GMOSS) Service where all the tertiary care referrals for bone and soft tissue sarcoma for the north-west are discussed. Dr Kirwadi is a member of the British Society of Skeletal Radiology (BSSR), European Society of Musculoskeletal Society (ESSR), Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and Royal College of Radiologists (RCR).
Dr Kirwadi is a council member on the Imaging Section at the Manchester Medical Society and has been appointed as a Specialist Adviser to NICE's Interventional Procedures Programme. Dr Kirwadi is a faculty member on a number of radiology courses and has a keen interest in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as well as lecturing in the UK and abroad.
Dr Kirwadi was directly involved in Royal College of Radiologists' Tempus Omnia training programme development for MSK Radiology.
