Dr Amarnath Bhide is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine based in London. Dr Bhide is Deputy Editor and Chief of Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, a peer reviewed medical journal covering gynecology, female urology, gynecologic oncology and fertility. He is also a scientific editor of BJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and part of othe editorial board for three other journals.
He is actively involved in research, with an interest in placental physiology and pathology, hypoxaemia and fetal cardiac function. He has published 48 peer-reviewed articles and 17 book chapters, as well as authoring four books.
