About Dr Dominic Dwyer
Dr Dominic Dwyer is a medical virologist and infectious diseases physician. Dr Dwyer has extensive experience in pandemic responses. Their work in molecular testing for HIV spans three decades and they were also involved in a WHO investigation into the SARS outbreak. Dr Dwyer has been involved in delivering a COVID-19 testing regime. They have also developed scientific breakthroughs in the health response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr Dwyer was selected by the World Health Organization (WHO) to be part of an international team of physicians, scientists and researchers. The team worked with local health officials to explore the origins of the coronavirus.
