Dr. Diana Chaves is a highly experienced general dentist with over 25 years of dedicated practice in dental clinical care. Originally from Colombia, she now resides in Dubai with her husband and two daughters. Dr. Chaves is known for her exceptional skills in providing comprehensive general dentistry services, including wisdom tooth extractions, oral rehabilitation, and esthetic dentistry, always adhering to the highest professional and ethical standards.
She graduated with Honours from El Bosque University, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1993. Following her passion for oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Chaves pursued post-graduate training as a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS), which she successfully completed in 2000.
During her career, Dr. Chaves contributed significantly to the field of oral surgery as part of the OMS team at El Tunal Hospital in Colombia. Her dedication to education led her to serve as a professor of oral surgery at El Bosque University for four years. Dr. Chaves is a proud member of prestigious professional associations, including the Colombian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ACCOMF), the Latin American Association of Buccomaxilofacial Surgery and Traumatology (ALACIBU), and the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS).
Dr. Chaves is proficient in the CEREC system, allowing her to provide same-day crowns and inlays using cutting-edge technology. Additionally, she is a certified Invisalign provider, offering orthodontic solutions to her patients.
