Throughout his career, Dr Houssien has developed a strong clinical interest in the management of complex rheumatic diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, and osteoporosis. He is particularly recognised for his expertise in utilising low-level laser acupuncture as a non-pharmacological treatment for back, neck, shoulder, and knee pain. By combining this innovative therapy with traditional rheumatology practices, he aims to minimise the side effects of standard medications while effectively alleviating chronic pain and inflammation.
