About
Dr Ong is also a retinal specialist. They have performed over a thousand anti-VEGF injections for macular degeneration and other retinal diseases. They have helped many patients to improve and maintain their vision.
Dr Ong graduated with honours from Monash University Medical School, Melbourne. They then worked at The Austin Hospital, Melbourne where they received “The Best Hospital Medical Officer Teacher Award”. After completing their ophthalmology training at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Melbourne, Dr Ong moved to the UK for further training in medical retina and uveitis conditions at Moorfields Hospital, London. They undertook further training in glaucoma and oculoplastics at The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. Other fellowship training included cataract surgery at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Melbourne.
