About Mrs Claire Freeman
Mrs Claire Freeman is a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon based New Hall Hospital in Salisbury. She has treated a wide spectrum of foot issues over the last 30 years and aims to promote functional mobility and encourage people to stay fit and healthy. She provides conservative care and surgery for pathologies of the skin, soft tissue, and bone. Since 2014 she has performed over 2,000 foot surgery procedures including: • 450 digital procedures • 500 HAV corrections • 230 1st MTPJ Cheilectomy+/- osteotomies • 50 1st MTPJ fusions Mrs Freeman studied podiatry at the University of Brighton in 1995 and developed a passion for movement and biomechanics. She went on to undertake a master's degree in theory of podiatric surgery and earned her fellowship of the Royal College of Podiatry Surgery (FRCPodS) in 2010. In addition to her clinical work, Mrs Freeman is a guest lecturer on the sports medicine master's programme at Queen Mary University of London. She is also a tutor with the Faculty of Podiatric Surgery.
