About Dr Chris Jordan
Professional career Dr Christopher Jordan is a dentist who has dedicated his practice exclusively to orthodontics, helping children, teens, and adults achieve confident, healthy smiles. With advanced training in aligners, fixed and lingual braces and growth-focused early treatment, Dr Jordan combines modern digital techniques with a preventative, whole-patient approach to care. Recognised as Young Dentist of the Year at the Private Dentistry Awards 2024, Dr Jordan is passionate about making orthodontics approachable and accessible for both patients and colleagues. He regularly lectures and mentors dentists across Scotland on aligner therapy, early interceptive treatment and collaborative care. Dr Jordan provides orthodontic treatment across both Vermilion Edinburgh and Kelso practices, offering a full range of treatment options including traditional fixed braces, ceramic braces, aligner therapy and lingual (behind-the-teeth) braces. Originally from Northern Ireland, Dr Jordan moved to Scotland in 2012 and has since built a strong reputation for his patient-centred, compassionate approach. He has a particular passion for helping children develop to their full potential through early, preventative orthodontic care - supporting healthy growth, function and long-term stability. Drawing on his broad background across all areas of dentistry, he strives to ensure each orthodontic plan supports overall oral health, facial balance and lasting results. In addition to his work at Vermilion, Dr Jordan also provides mobile dental sedation services for practices throughout Scotland. Academic career Dr Christopher Jordan graduated from the University of Dundee in 2017. Since then, he has undertaken extensive postgraduate education, completing Postgraduate Diplomas in Orthodontics (with Distinction), Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry and Early Interceptive Orthodontics as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Lingual Orthodontics. He is currently completing a Master’s degree (MSc) in Dento-facial Orthodontics at the University of Greater Manchester. Dr Jordan also lectures at dental study clubs and professional events across Scotland, with a particular focus on aligner therapy, early interceptive orthodontics and comprehensive, patient-centred treatment planning.
