Dr. Ching Feng Sia is a highly skilled and passionate dentist who graduated from the University of Dundee in 2016. He was awarded the prestigious British Society of Restorative Dentistry (BSRD) Prize Award for his excellence in the field. He is also a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
Dr. Sia has pursued further education, completing a postgraduate qualification in Dental Education in 2021 and a year-long postgraduate implant dentistry course at the BAIRD Academy in Leeds in 2023. His approach to dentistry emphasises patient education and a relaxed, personable experience, ensuring that his patients are well-informed and comfortable throughout their treatment. He frequently employs digital solutions and photography to provide the highest standard of care.
Before joining his current practice, Dr. Sia completed two years of postgraduate training within NHS Fife and Tayside, gaining experience in general practice in East Lothian. His diverse background includes working in academic, public, and hospital dental settings, where he honed his skills in general dentistry, oral surgery, and restorative dentistry. He currently holds a position as a staff grade dentist in restorative dentistry at Dundee Dental Hospital, where he teaches undergraduate dental students.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Sia is an enthusiastic foodie and enjoys playing both casual and competitive badminton. He was the Bronze Ladder Doubles Champion at the Edinburgh Badminton Academy in 2018.
