Dr Cheng Hiang Lee is a consultant paediatric and adolescent gastroenterologist who performs endoscopic procedures in children. Dr Lee graduated from Queens University Belfast in Northern Ireland. They were trained at the Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast and Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children before migrating to Sydney where they continued their paediatric training in various hospitals in the Sydney Children's Hospital's network. Dr Lee is a recipient of the Australian Postgraduate Award for exceptional research potential to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Sydney.
Dr Lee's scope of practice includes the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal disorders in children. Dr Lee performs paediatric oesophagogastroduodenoscopy (upper GI endoscopy) and colonoscopy. They were admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2012.
