About Dr Asma Akhtar
Dr. Asma Akhtar is a highly experienced General Practitioner with over 20 years of experience as a doctor, and more than 15 years working in General Practice. After qualifying from Imperial College London, Dr. Akhtar completed her postgraduate training in London and was awarded her Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice in 2011.
Throughout her career, Dr. Akhtar has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including spending six years as a GP partner in a busy, well-regarded training practice. She offers comprehensive care across the full spectrum of General Practice, with a particular focus on women’s health and mental health. Dr. Akhtar is passionate about supporting women through all stages of life, taking a compassionate, thoughtful approach to managing mental health concerns.
