I have been a practicing psychologist for more than 20 years, and I hold a licence. Despite having grown up and finished my basic psychology training in India, I received additional training for my specialisations in the US and the UK. I moved to the United Arab Emirates in 2018.
I firmly believe that each of us is born with the ability to make sense of the experiences of life. However, there are instances when difficulties can impair our ability to manage well. This is when therapy comes into play. Asking for assistance is a crucial first step towards conquering our challenges. We must come to terms with the fact that there is a problem and look for solutions to improve our capacity for coping.
