Dr Ankit Chawla
General Practice (GP)
About
Graduating from the world-renowned Imperial College London he then completed his training as a GP at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London. With over 12 years of broad generalist experience across almost every facet of physical and mental health, Dr Chawla has gained a unique vantage point from which to assess and manage health and chronic disease.
He has also trained with the Institute for Functional Medicine, allowing him to combine his personal passion for health with his profession, providing compassionate, holistic medical care as well as truly proactive (or "primordial," as he likes to call it) prevention of chronic disease.
Dr Chawla utilises the fundamental pillars of longevity, combined with principles of functional medicine and precision medicine, to formulate a personalised, holistic longevity strategy and treatment plan. His ultimate goal is to help people maximise their health span and reach their full health potential.
His areas of particular interest and expertise include cardiometabolic health, energy optimisation, gut health and hormonal balance in both men and women. With his expertise, Dr Chawla provides optimal management of cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment, diabetes prevention and reversal, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic fatigue, menopause, and many more general health issues as an experienced general practitioner.
Outside of his clinical work, Dr Chawla is a lifelong fitness enthusiast, adrenaline junkie, and has an immense love of learning new things. He also holds a Master’s degree in Bioengineering, reflecting his interest in medical technological innovations and a diverse skill set and analytical mind, both of which he applies to human health and disease.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
