About
Mr Williams was recently appointed Chair of Ethics & Consultant Committee for their professional body and has attended meetings with key stakeholders including the HCPC, NICE and Royal Colleges. They have also recently been appointed as a regional mentor for at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow where they are a fellow. Mr Williams has also lectured on the MCH Orthopaedics Program at the University of Liverpool and is an invited lecturer at national and international scientific meetings including Israel, Japan and Lithuania.
Their interests include diagnostic ultrasound, Plantar fasciitis, minimally invasive procedures, and a novel percutaneous procedure using Cryosurgery for Morton's neuroma. This involves a minimally invasive procedure approach utilising Argon gas and Mr Williams was the first clinician to introduce this to the NHS. They have also proctored other clinicians in the UK and Europe. Mr Williams has completed audits on their outcomes and was the lead investigator into platelet-rich plasma, tendon disorders and Percutaneous Cryoablation Of Mortons Neuroma.
