Amy is a dedicated and experienced carer at 29 years old, and she brings over 5 years of compassionate caregiving to her role. Passionate about her work, Amy finds fulfilment in connecting with individuals on a personal level and providing them with the support they need. With a diverse range of experience, Amy has worked with individuals with various needs, including mild to advanced dementia, visual and hearing impairments, depression, anxiety, autism, and more. She collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, including district nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, and GPs, to ensure holistic care for her clients. Amy is also capable of assisting with tasks such as phone calls, appointments, and medication collections. Having worked in hospitals, residential care homes, temporary respite facilities, and private residences, Amy has gained valuable experience in different care settings.  Amy's approach to care is focused on motivating and spending quality time with her clients, whether it's going for walks, engaging in recommended exercises, or respecting their privacy and independence. She is committed to promoting independence while offering additional support when required, ensuring her clients feel valued and empowered in their daily lives. Specialising in a wide range of conditions and needs, including physical disabilities, mental health issues, palliative care, and more, Amy provides personalised care tailored to each individual's unique circumstances.
