Amy Buckley is a Specialist Dietitian practising at The Gut Health Clinic. Her clinical work focuses on the nutritional management of gastrointestinal conditions, with particular expertise in inflammatory bowel disease and digestive health.
Amy Buckley provides dietetic assessment and treatment for a range of digestive disorders and gastrointestinal symptoms. Her areas of clinical interest include inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), bile acid malabsorption, coeliac disease, and digestive symptoms such as bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, and reflux. She also supports individuals with chronic health conditions, weight management, and nutrition related to women’s health and fertility.
She previously worked at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust as an upper gastrointestinal surgical dietitian, supporting patients undergoing procedures such as oesophagectomy, gastrectomy, and hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery, as well as individuals receiving chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Amy Buckley is currently undertaking a PhD at King’s College London investigating the role of diet and the gut microbiome in inflammatory bowel disease activity and treatment response. She has also undertaken specialist training in the low FODMAP diet through King’s College London.
