About Mr Alistair Gray
Mr Gray is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon with a particular interest in hip and knee surgery. He qualified in medicine from Aberdeen University in 1982. Following his foundation training, he began his surgical training in orthopaedic surgery, wokring in Dundee and in Cambridge. After a period as a senior registrar at Cambridge, Mr Gray was appointed as a Consultant at the Western Infirmary, Glasgow in 1996. He received specialty training in hip and knee arthroplasty and developed an interest in hip revision, primary hip replacement and resurfacing. He trained in hip arthroscopy whilst in Cambridge, and has developed this during 14 years of consultant practice.
