About
Alex has extensive experience in elite sport, working as a senior therapist with Rams RFC, Bracknell RFC and Berkshire County Rugby. She is also under clinical mentorship with Bath Rugby. Alongside her work in rugby, she specialises in treating dancers, gymnasts, and acrobats, drawing on her previous career as a professional dancer, aerialist, choreographer, and teacher.
Her clinical skill set includes dry needling, soft tissue therapy, and Clinical Pilates. She is a fully comprehensive Pilates instructor trained in all original large apparatus and is also a PHICIS Level 3 pitchside medic and FREC3 first responder. Currently qualifying as a Level 4 Strength and Conditioning Coach, Alex integrates strength-based rehabilitation into her patient care.
At Gecko Clinic, Alex combines her performance background with clinical expertise to deliver tailored, functional rehabilitation for athletes and active individuals.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
