About Dr Alexander Gin
Dr Alexander Gin is a Consultant Dermatologist with many years of experience in the treatment and management of a wide range of skin conditions within general dermatology including eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, skin cancer and paediatric skin conditions. Dr Gin sees private patients at the Melbourne Dermatology Clinic. Dr Gin earned his Bachelor's degree in Medicine at the University of Melbourne in 2011, after which he undertook his specialist training at various renowned hospitals in Victoria including St Vincent's Hospital, The Royal Children's Hospital, Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. He also gained experience working in the UK health sector, as he was awarded a Dermatology and Lymphovascular Medicine fellowship at St George's Hospital. Since his Consultant appointment, Dr Gin has been awarded numerous prizes for his research and clinical practice, including the Herman Lawrence Prize. He is also passionate about staying up to date with the latest information in dermatology research, authoring numerous peer-reviewed articles in renowned medical journals. Dr Gin has also has presented his work at national and international conferences and is also actively involved in the medical education of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
