Dr. Akram Altawachi is an Orthodontist dedicated to providing high-quality care. After graduating from dental school in 2016, he began his career as a general dentist in Jordan. He furthered his education by earning membership in the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2018, followed by a master's degree in clinical dentistry of orthodontics from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2020.
Throughout his career, Dr. Altawachi has remained committed to staying updated on the latest advancements in orthodontic procedures. He attends conferences and training sessions both locally and internationally to enhance his skills in areas such as orthodontic mini-screws, clear aligners, and digital dentistry.
During his master's training, Dr. Altawachi gained extensive experience treating patients of all ages, including children and adults, with various orthodontic needs. He also played a role in supervising undergraduate students and contributed to scholarly research, with his work being recognised and published in reputable journals.
Dr. Altawachi's expertise extends to interceptive orthodontic treatment for children, addressing dental malocclusions and anomalies in facial growth and jaw development. He also specialises in multidisciplinary care, including restorative treatment.
Recognised for his work with the Invisalign system, Dr. Altawachi has earned the distinction of being a platinum elite Invisalign provider. He is currently completing an aligner fellowship program to further enhance his skills in this area.
