Dr. Ahmed Hasaballah is a highly experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 20 years of international clinical experience across Ireland, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, specialising in comprehensive women’s health care with a particular focus on general gynaecology, minimally invasive surgery, fertility care, and urogynaecology.

He is currently a Consultant at University Hospital Kerry and has previously worked as a Consultant at Cork University Maternity Hospital, while also providing consultant services across several hospitals in Ireland including Portlaoise, Cavan, Sligo, Kilkenny and Tallaght. He has also held senior roles at the Rotunda Hospital, National Maternity Hospital.

Dr. Hasaballah provides expert care for a wide range of gynaecological conditions including abnormal bleeding, fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, endometriosis, menopause concerns, fertility issues, prolapse, urinary incontinence, and cervical abnormalities. He has extensive experience in both outpatient management and surgical treatment.

His surgical expertise includes minimal invasive surgeries for endometriosis, ovaries cysts, uterine polyps/fibroids excision and adhesiolysis for fertility in addition to laparoscopic hysterectomy. He also is very well trained on open operations for large masses., and pelvic floor repair with hundreds of successful procedures performed throughout his career.

Dr. Hasaballah holds an MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, MRCPI, MRCOG, and a Diploma in Leadership and Management from University College Dublin. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, British Fertility Society.

Alongside his clinical practice, he is actively involved in medical education, research, and service development, with publications, national presentations, and quality improvement projects focused on advancing women’s healthcare.
