About A/Prof Adrian Mar
Dr Adrian Mar is a highly regarded Dermatologist. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of dermatology, and is skilled in the diagnosis and management of a variety of dermatological conditions. He is part of the team at North Western Dermatology; offering general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. He completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 1990, and later specialised in dermatology. He began as a Consultant Dermatologist at Monash Health in 2001, and became the Head of Dermatology there in 2006; a position he has now held for over 17 years. He also has keen involvement with education and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Monash University's department of medicine. Dr Mar has expertise in a wide range of conditions, including inflammatory skin conditions, hair disorders and skin cancer. He has a sub-specialist interest in the management of vitiligo, and co-founded the Skin Health Institute's Vitiligo Clinic where he is also a visiting consultant.
