Consultant Urologist specialising in kidney stones, prostate conditions, and minimally invasive treatments Mr Aditya Raja is a Consultant Urologist based in Harrogate, providing both NHS and private care to patients across North Yorkshire. He specialises in the diagnosis and management of kidney stones and prostate conditions, with a particular focus on minimally invasive treatments, including endourological stone surgery and procedures for benign prostate enlargement. Mr Raja is particularly experienced in the assessment and treatment of kidney stone disease, including laser stone surgery (ureteroscopy), stone prevention strategies, and the management of recurrent stone disease. He also manages a wide range of general urological conditions, including urinary symptoms, raised PSA, blood in the urine, recurrent urinary infections, and testicular concerns. He is known for his calm and approachable manner, and for explaining complex issues in a clear and straightforward way. He understands that many urological symptoms can feel worrying or difficult to talk about, and aims to ensure patients feel fully informed, comfortable, and confident in their care. He has an active role in the regional urology teaching programme across Yorkshire and the Humber and regularly teaches at the Royal College of Surgeons.
