Willowmead in East Molesey, Surrey is a living home that offers support for adults with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs. Conditions that are supported at Willowmead include brain injury, sensory impairment, Asperger's, autism, and other complex needs.
Willowmead offers six bedrooms with three bathrooms over two floors, which are each suitable for single occupancy. There is stair-lift access for the first floor rooms and the communal lounge and dining areas are located on the ground floor. There are also seven self-contained studio flats that comprise their own bathroom. Residents have access to a shared garden which is home to a large summer house with a kitchen and lounge area within it.
Staff at Willowmead are trained in Positive Behaviour Support, attachment and Emotional Unstable Personality Disorder/Borderline Personality Disorder training to support the dual diagnosis of service users. Willowmead also works with support workers and assistant care practitioners in order to ensure both social and mental health needs are addressed.
