In 2014, Remeo Healthcare, in partnership with Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, opened the Lane Fox Remeo Respiratory Centre in Redhill. The centre is equipped with 20 beds and has won awards for improving the quality of life for patients with complex respiratory conditions. Since its opening, the Lane Fox Remeo Respiratory Centre has cared for 400 NHS patients.
After its initial success, Remeo began delivering specialised respiratory support to members of the community in 2017. In 2019, Remeo Healthcare became part of the Active Care Group giving Remeo the capacity to provide their care services on a much wider scale, for example in residential and supported living settings.
The Lane Fox Remeo Respiratory Centre specialises in both non-invasive and invasive long-term ventilation as well as in 'weaning' patients from invasive mechanical ventilation. The centre receives referrals of patients with chronic respiratory failure associated with neuromuscular disease, muscular dystrophy, respiratory diseases and obesity.
The team at Remeo Healthcare consists of a group of multidisciplinary clinicians dedicated to providing the best quality patient-focused care. Remeo Healthcare is also home to a team of well experienced respiratory nurses who love what they do.
