Dr Ritasha Varsani is a highly qualified Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist specialising in Family, Marriage and Child Therapy. With over a decade of experience, she is skilled in helping patients with a range of mental health difficulties. Dr Varsani takes a patient-centred, strengths-based, individualised and culturally competent approach to her practice, allowing her to work successfully with each individual and achieve great outcomes. She offers a wide range of services, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Humanistic Approaches, Family Systems, Couples Therapy, Conflict Resolution in Relationships, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma and Depression, Emotional and Behavioural Disorders, Crisis Intervention Techniques and Compassion Focused Therapy. Dr Varsani has an active licence in psychology with the Community Development Authority Dubai (CDA). She completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology at St Xavier's College of Ahmedabad in 2002, and following this she pursued a Master's degree in psychology where she specialised in marriage, family and child therapy. Since obtaining her Master's degree, Dr Varsani has completed numerous additional courses to continue her education in the field. She has completed a course in couples therapy with the American Psychological Association, a Certificate of Compassion Focused Therapy, Level 1 and Level 2 Certificates of The Gottman Institute USA, CBT for Anxiety from the Beck Institute USA, and she has attended the MEPA Conference Dubai. With her wealth of qualifications, Dr Varsani is up-to-date with the latest practices in the field. She is also a member of the American Psychological Association and the Middle East Psychology Association (MEPA).
