Ms Firdous is a UK-trained, CDA and BACP-licensed Counselling Psychologist and Psychotherapist at BE Psychology Center for Emotional Wellbeing with nine years of experience in the field of mental health.
Firdous completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Mental Health at the University of Strathclyde in Scotland, UK in 2012 followed by her Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychology in 2018 at the same university. She later completed her Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Queen Mary University of London, UK in 2021.
Firdous's journey in mental health began in a Scottish hospital, sparking her passion for the field. She later specialised as a therapist, providing counselling services to professionals in the Government sector. Her focus shifted towards making mental health accessible to underprivileged communities, including BME (Black & Minority Ethnic) groups, asylum families, and adolescents in schools.

Firdous guides her clients through past, present, and future aspirations, fostering an environment of trust and openness. She believes in empowering clients to make choices and explore their inner selves for a more fulfilling life.
Firdous continually expands her knowledge through additional training, addressing diverse issues such as cults and high control groups, child Protection, and adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Firdous is a strong advocate for mental health accessibility and has successfully assisted clients dealing with various challenges, including abuse, anxiety, depression, and workplace burnout.
