Hazar Zreik is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked in the UAE for over ten years and is currently based at Cambridge Medical Center. She has a caring approach and is passionate about helping others. Her goal is to enhance human and social development as well as personal growth.
Hazar works with adults who have various emotional and behavioural issues such as mood disorders and anxiety disorders. Her areas of specialisation include: trauma, anxiety and panic attacks, stress-related problems, anger-related problems, depression, low self-esteem, addictive behaviours, and personality disorders.
She employs a number of approaches and techniques that are adapted to each individual's needs as well as personal qualities and differences in each patient. She uses techniques such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Emotion-focused Therapy.
She has previously worked at Healthbay PolyClinic, Medeor 24x7 Hospital, and Al Hikma Psychiatry in Dubai. Additionally, she has worked as a Clinical Psychologist at the Association Justice Et Miséricorde (AJEM) (Roumieh Central Prison) in Beirut, Lebanon.
Hazar holds a master's degree in clinical psychology from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Lebanese University, which she gained in 2008. She is also a British Psychological Society-approved Psycho-Educational Assessor with experience providing a variety of ability exams, including IQ tests.
