Professor Hany Zayed is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon specialising in the diagnosis and management of arterial and venous diseases. He was appointed as a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in 2008, where he has contributed to the development of vascular services and has led specialist work in lower limb revascularisation and diabetic vascular care. His clinical expertise includes the endovascular and open treatment of occlusive and aneurysmal disease of the aorta, carotid artery disease, and minimally invasive management of varicose veins using techniques such as radiofrequency ablation, laser therapy, and foam sclerotherapy.
Professor Zayed holds an academic role as Professor of Applied Vascular Surgery at King’s College London and has contributed extensively to research in vascular surgery, with numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences.
Professor Zayed currently practises at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. His private practice is based at London Bridge Hospital (HCA Healthcare UK), The Sloane Hospital in Beckenham (Circle Health Group), and KIMS Hospital in Maidstone.
