Dr. Christina Burmeister is a counselling psychologist. She works on providing a nurturing and confidential environment for her clients, aiming to facilitate their healing journey. Drawing from a diverse range of therapeutic techniques, Christina tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual. With over 15 years of counselling experience in the UAE, she values multiculturalism and its significance in therapy.
Having worked across various organisations in the UAE, Christina has extensive experience in counselling individuals, couples, and families. She assists clients dealing with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, panic disorders, eating disorders, and relationship problems, to name a few
Christina holds a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology from the United States, in addition to her Bachelor’s degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Drawing from her personal experience of navigating two cultural worlds, she also focused on helping individuals cope with "culture shock" problems.
Through her dedication and expertise, Christina remains committed to supporting her clients in their journey towards mental well-being.
