About Dr Kevin Pankhurst
Dr Kevin Pankhurst is a general adult psychiatrist with more than 15 years of experience and extensive expertise in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of psychiatric complaints. He practices in Berkshire and Surrey, East London and is able to treat a range of conditions. He is a specialist in treating Adult ADHD, anxiety, depression, bioplar affective disorders, self-harm, addiction, psychotic disorders. He takes a holistic and patient-centric approach to care and uses a combination of psychological, biological social therapy in his practice. Dr Pankhurst encourages his patients to be actively involved in their treatment, and he offers support to manage personal circumstances and build self-resilience to aid in recovery. He is also able to prescribe medication where necessary and does this in accordance with evidence-based treatments. Dr Pankhurst gained his medical qualification in 1995 before going on to gain a Masters of Medicine in psychiatry in 2005. He became a consultant in 2008 and has since spent time in a variety of services including inpatient care, home treatment, rehabilitation teams, and liaison psychiatry teams in general hospital.
