Dr. Sharma earned her M.B.B.S. in India before relocating to the United Kingdom in 2004. She completed her core training in Psychiatry in Bristol and underwent higher training in General Adult Psychiatry at Springfield and St George’s University, obtaining her CCT in 2016.
Currently employed at an NHS Trust, Dr. Sharma serves as an Inpatient Consultant, specialising in general adult psychiatry. She has held various roles within the Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, including as a Medical Lead at Farnham Road Hospital from 2018 to 2020.
Her clinical interests include ADHD, Autism, menopause-related mental health issues in women, psychosis, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders, including OCD and PTSD. Dr. Sharma is committed to teaching and regularly engages in educational activities for staff and junior doctors, reflecting her dedication to ongoing professional development and excellence in patient care.
