About Mr Humayun Khan
Mr. Humayun Ayub Khan is a highly experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon with 20 years of expertise in the field of plastic surgery. His training included prestigious institutions such as St. Andrews Hospital Broomfield, Royal Preston Hospital, and St. James Hospital Dublin. Having been a Plastic Surgeon for 12 years, Mr. Khan also holds significant experience in General Surgery, having worked as a Consultant in General Surgery for five years in Pakistan. His extensive background includes working and training in various surgical specialties, including thyroid surgery, paediatric surgery, urology, burns, and war zone surgery on the Afghan-Pakistan border in Peshawar. Mr. Khan holds specialist qualifications in General Surgery (FRCS), Plastic Surgery (FRCS Plast), and a Master's in Aesthetic Surgery (MSc Aesth). Additionally, he holds certifications from the Royal College of Surgeons in Facial and Periorbital Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery of the Breast, and Body Contouring Surgery. Beyond his clinical work, Mr. Khan is an educational leader, having served as a supervisor and trainer in General Surgery and a clinical supervisor for surgical trainees in Plastic Surgery. He is also the education lead for surgical trainees in Plastic Surgery. In his NHS practice, Mr. Khan performs a wide range of procedures in general plastic surgery, including skin cancer and scar revisions. He specialises in burns and plastic reconstructive surgery for both adults and children. Mr. Khan is also a core member of the South Manchester Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary Team, where he contributes to the management of skin cancer surgeries across the region.
