Dr Maslin graduated in medicine from the University of Cambridge in 2012 and completed his specialist dermatology training at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. He became a consultant in April 2023. He also treats viral, fungal and bacterial skin infections, and performs cryotherapy for keratoses, warts and precancerous lesions. A key area of interest is the use of dermoscopy for accurate assessment of skin lesions and the early detection of skin cancers, including basal cell carcinoma (BCC), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), and melanoma. He offers mole checks, skin screening, and dermatological surgery, as well as treatments for various causes of hair loss. Throughout his career, Dr Maslin has received numerous awards and scholarships for his contributions to dermatology, including the Champion Prize for Dermatology from the University of Cambridge, multiple scholarships from the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, and fellowships and awards from the British Association of Dermatologists, the UK Dermatology Clinical Trials Network and the British Photodermatology Group.
