About
Dr Mandeville qualified from the University of Aberdeen in 1997. They trained in Clinical Oncology in London, at St Bartholomew's and Hammersmith Hospitals. Between 2006 and 2009 they undertook a Cancer Research UK clinical research training fellowship at Mount Vernon Hospital and the Gray Cancer Institute. This clinical and laboratory research, exploring the clinical interaction between vascular targeting agents and radiotherapy, led to the award of an MD(Res) from UCL in 2011. Their current research interests are technical radiotherapy and functional imaging for malignancies in children and young people, with disease-specific interests in rhabdomyosarcoma and neuroblastoma.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
