Prof Huddart completed his medical degree in 1986 at the University of London. He later completed his Fellowship at the Royal College of Radiologists London in 1992 and was awarded the Frank Doyle and Rohan Williams medals for outstanding achievement in the examinations. He was also awarded a PhD for his work on the Molecular Biology of Testicular Cancer from the University of London in 2001.
He has remained active in clinical research throughout his career and has published over 300 peer-reviews papers in renowned journals such as New England Journal of Medicine, and Lancet Oncology the Journal of Clinical Oncology. He was awarded the title of Professor of Urological Cancer in 2015 at the Institute of Cancer Research. He has spoken at extensively at international meetings and conferences especially surrounding his work in bladder and testicular cancer research.
