About Mr Daniel Glassman

Mr. Daniel Glassman is a dedicated Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at Spire Leeds Hospital and at Spire Methley Park Hospital and serves as the Clinical Lead for Breast Services at The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. He is a highly qualified specialist in breast surgery. Mr. Glassman holds a BSc (Hons) degree, MBBS, MSc, and FRCS (Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of England). He is registered on the GMC Specialist Register and is a member of the Association of Breast Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland. He has completed a National Oncoplastic Breast TiG Fellowship. In his practice, Mr. Glassman focuses on treating patients with various breast conditions, including breast cancer and benign breast diseases as well as risk reduction interventions. He is proficient in performing a wide range of breast oncological resectional procedures, as well as breast oncoplastic and reconstructive surgeries. His expertise includes mastectomies, breast lumpectomies, breast implant-based reconstruction, local perforator flaps, correction of breast asymmetry, breast reduction and fat transfer. Mr. Glassman places a strong emphasis on providing personalised care tailored to the unique needs of each patient. He collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary team of oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists to ensure the highest quality of patient care. Additionally, he is actively involved in medical education, training junior doctors, and holds a Masters degree in Surgical Simulation. He is also engaged in clinical research and has presented his work at international conferences, along with publishing extensively in peer-reviewed medical journals.
