She is an active member of her professional community and holds memberships in the Saudi Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery, where she serves as Deputy President, and the Saudi Society of General Surgery. Her contributions to the field include being the first female doctor to graduate from the Saudi fellowship programme in colorectal surgery.
