Mr Nasser Kurdy is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Wythenshawe Hospital, MFT NHS Foundation Trust, specialising in foot and ankle surgery.
He graduated in Medicine from the University of Dundee in 1983 and then completed surgical training in Tayside. He then went on to complete post-FRCS training in Northampton General Hospital and higher Orthopaedic surgical training in Manchester. Mr Kurdy also undertook fellowship training in Vancouver, British Colombia Children's Hospital.
Mr Kurdy was then appointed Consultant at South Manchester University Hospitals in 1998. He has a broad range of interests within foot and ankle surgery. This includes bunions, lesser toe deformities, ID (neuroma), sports injuries, rheumatoid conditions of the foot and ankle, fractures and soft tissue injuries, management of diabetic foot and ankle problems, Metatarsalgia, arthroscopy, degenerative joint disease, adolescent foot problems, foot deformity, Tibialis Posterior Tendon Dysfunction, ankle instability, toenail problems and neurological foot and ankle conditions.
